Your Safe Haven, Inc. (YSH), was incorporated in November of 1994 in response to the community’s need for a program to address the issue of domestic violence and its impact on the health, safety, and housing needs of individuals in Bedford County.
As planning stages progressed, it became apparent that the residents of Bedford County would be best served by the consolidation of the newly planned domestic violence program with the existing Victim Services Program in Bedford County, which served victims of sexual assault and provided victim/witness services to all crime victims including, sexual assault, stalking, incest, homicide, rape, identity theft, robbery, assault, DUI related crimes, etc.
